Sapporo Airport Train

Taking a train is the fastest mean of transportation to and from Sapporo City.

JR Line is one of the best options. 

Local trains also connect the Airport with Sapporo city although not as fast and not so frequent.

Sapporo Airport is also served by trains traveling to and from cities in Hokkaido such as Abashiri, Obihiro, Asahikawa, Higashi Muroran, Hakodate, Kushiro and Tomakomai.

Schedule

Rapid Trains run every 15 minutes from 08:15am to 11:00pm approximately.

Travel time to Sapporo Station is about 35-40 minutes.

The JR Line Station is located on the first floor basement of the Domestic Terminal.

In addition to tickets purchased at ticket vending machines, passengers can also use smart cards such as “Kitaka,” “Suika,” and “PASMO.”
